Copper bales had to be pre-guillotined before further processing.

This procedure was labour intensive and time consuming. A Shred-Tech hydraulic shredder eliminated the need for a guillotine by pre-sizing materials prior to granulation. In doing so, throughput increased while labour, handling and maintenance costs decreased. The success of this shredder has led to the purchase of a second machine to reduce aluminum and steel cable.
